Our in-house laboratory is provided by IDEXX Laboratories, one of the most trusted names in veterinary medicine! Our machines are able to process multiple blood tests and urine tests, which is perfect for when your pet is sick and we need to know the condition of their internal organs right away!

For any test we cannot run in-house with our own equipment, we have access to IDEXX Laboraties' entire catalogue of tests, for in-depth annual diagnostics to advanced disease screening. We often receive results within 24 hours for most tests, so you have the peace of mind of knowing results quickly.

Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital can perform full-body radiographs for any species we service. This means we can capture high resolution images of any body part which is then processed through AI to capture as much information as possible on the condition of your pet's bones and organs. 

Have you ever wondered why your dog is always itchy? Why your cat sneezes all summer? That is where we come in! We are partnered with Heska Laboratories, a subsidiary of ANTECH, to provide a robust catalogue of allergy testing for dogs and cats. These tests can identify allergies to food, plants, other animals, and environmental hazards.

Our technicians are rigorously trained on capturing and interpreting skin and ear cytologies. We are able to identify, using our in-house laboratory equipment and microscopes, a variety of skin conditions and bacteria, allowing us to diagnose and treat many illnesses and infections.

We are partnered with Ally Vet Imaging, a local company based out of Silver Spring, to provide ultrasounds and echocardiograms. Their team of highly trained ultrasound technicians and radiologists have been working with us for years providing in-depth analysis and high resolution images.
