Celebrating 10 years serving the Pasadena Community! We thank you!
Whether you have a senior dog, a new kitten, an ancient turtle, or a family bird, Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital's team of doctors will provide comprehensive examinations for your pet once or twice a year, depending on their age and past medical history.
Our exams are performed in front of you, with our doctors giving detailed explanations of their findings as they perform their exam. Annual and bi-annual exams are crucial in detecting health issues before they become emergent.
We are partnered with such organizations as IDEXX Laboratories, Heska Laboratories, Michigan State University, and Texas A&M to screen your pet's blood, urine, and fecals so we can know exactly how their body is doing and detect health issues before they become emergent and hard to manage.
We are able to perform normal screenings but also provide allergy testing, endocrinology testing, and complex GI panels so our doctors can provide the best care they can.
We are partnered with VetSource online pharmacy so we are able to set you up to receive whatever preventative medication is best for your pet, autoshipped straight to your door!
We also sell our doctor's favorite brands in-house so you can pick up medications during your normally scheduled appointments.
We believe in ease of access for this basic need in dogs and cats. In Maryland, we experience parasites all year round, so we make it as easy as possible for you to protect your pets!
We believe that in the modern age, transparency is very improtant to consumers. We have decided as a hospital to provide the costs of our basic wellness care lab tests, vaccines, and exams so you can make an informed decision on your pet's care.

These items are for healthy check ups. This list does not include the costs related to sick care, emergency care, or other medications and supplements our veterinarians may recommend. We require a Veterinarian-Client-Patient-Relationship (VCPR) to be established with all clients and patients. An exam must be performed by one of our veterinarians before we can give advice or administer medications or vaccines. If you are coming from another hospital, a shelter, or a breeder, records must be provided to us before we can choose the vaccines that are best for your pet. If we have no record of previous vaccine history or if the vaccine history is too old, then we are required to start vaccine intervals as if the pet was never vaccinated. The lab tests we recommend will be based on the veterinarian's exam and other factors such as age, chronic conditions, and health concerns. The veterinarian may not recommend one of these lab tests for your pet, it is entirely dependent upon their exam. At
