Hi! My Name is Cortney!

I have been training dogs since 2019 from Search and Rescue to simple commands! I started in horses many years ago, but found dogs to be my calling. My passion lies in puppy behavior and socialization - I love watching dogs mature as we mold them into the best adult companions they can be. I am so excited to get to know you and your pup!

I offer a 6-week course for puppies aged 8-20 weeks:

In my 6-week course, I will work directly with a group of up to 6 puppies and their owners on some basic socialization and obedience skills:

Simple commands such as "Sit," "Stay," and "Here."
Kennel Training
Leash Training
How to interact with new people and other dogs

I am offering this course via Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital for $160 per puppy.

To sign up, you can contact their team using the link below. My class includes 6 1-hour in-person sessions with the entire group of puppies and their owners. I will also provide supplemental written materials to educate you on enrichment, appropriate toys, vaccine information, and other third-party resources. Training and enrichment tools such as toys, feeding devices, leashes, and other items will be made available via Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital.

I now offer one-on-one classes for adult dogs!

Do you have an adult dog that needs specialized training to become the best companion they can be?

I provide classes for adult dogs too! If your furry friend is struggling with:

Reactivity towards other dogs or people
Not enjoying their kennel or refusing to go into their kennel
Pulling or balking on their leash
Separation anxiety
Excessive barking, howling, or whining,

Then I am able to assist!

To begin your dog's journey with me, I conduct an Initial Consult...

This Initial Consult will be the first session between myself and you, as the client. Initial Consults are typically 60 to 90 minutes, where we will discuss goals for the training, issues you'd like to focus on, and review the current problems and concerns you are having.

I will also take time to observe and record how your dog interacts with you and me, and give them basic commands and stimuli to see how they respond.

Upon completion of the initial consult, I then set up further training sessions with you...

Any subsequent session will be 45 to 60 minutes long. These sessions are designed to check in with you and your dog and to further analyze your dog for progress. We can also set up a schedule of courses where we create a curriculum that is special to you!

My pricing:

The initial consult is $120

Any subsequent classes are $75 each

If you had your dog enrolled in my Puppy Socialization Course, then you do not need the Initial Consult and can continue working with me in further training classes.
